1. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to use Renyou
- You must be legally eligible to form a relationship (divorced, widowed, separated, or single)
- You must provide accurate information during registration
- You may only create one account per person
2. Account & Profile
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
- All profile information must be truthful and represent you accurately
- Photos must be of yourself — no fake, stolen, or misleading images
- You may not impersonate another person
- We reserve the right to verify your identity and remove unverified or suspicious accounts
3. Community Guidelines
Renyou is built on respect, dignity, and genuine connection. You agree to:
- Treat all users with respect and kindness
- Not send abusive, threatening, or harassing messages
- Not share explicit, pornographic, or inappropriate content
- Not use the app for commercial purposes, solicitation, or spam
- Not discriminate based on caste, religion, disability, or socioeconomic status
- Report users who violate these guidelines
4. Matching & Communication
- Matches are based on our compatibility algorithm and your preferences
- We do not guarantee any specific outcomes, matches, or relationships
- Free users have limited swipes and messages per day
- Premium features are available through paid subscriptions
5. Subscriptions & Payments
- Paid subscriptions are processed through Razorpay
- Prices are displayed in Indian Rupees (INR)
- Subscriptions are non-refundable unless required by law
- We may change subscription pricing with prior notice
- In-app purchases (boosts, superlikes) are non-transferable
6. Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.
7. Safety & Verification
- Selfie verification is available to prove your authenticity
- Verified profiles receive a badge but this does not guarantee a user's character or intentions
- Always exercise caution when meeting someone in person
- Meet in public places for first meetings
- Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, report and block the user
8. Prohibited Activities
You may not:
- Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the app
- Scrape or collect user data from the platform
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise our systems
- Create multiple accounts or use someone else's account
- Use the app while legally married (unless separated with legal documentation)
- Promote violence, hate speech, or illegal activities
9. Account Termination
- You may delete your account at any time from Settings
- We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
- Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy
10. Limitation of Liability
Renyou is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not responsible for:
- Actions, behavior, or representations of other users
- Any damages resulting from using the app or meeting other users
- Service interruptions, bugs, or data loss
- Third-party content or services linked from the app
11. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service. Continued use of Renyou after changes constitutes acceptance. We will notify users of material changes through the app.
