Community Guidelines

Every person on Renyou has a story. Treat others the way you would want to be treated — with empathy, patience, and genuine respect. Not every conversation will lead to a connection, and that is perfectly fine.

• Be polite, even when declining interest
• Do not mock, belittle, or shame anyone for their past, appearance, or choices
• Respect boundaries — if someone is not interested, accept it gracefully
• Remember that many users are navigating vulnerability; be gentle

Be yourself. Renyou is built on trust, and that starts with honesty about who you are.

• Use your real name and real photos
• Do not impersonate another person or use someone else's photos
• Do not create multiple accounts
• Do not misrepresent your age, gender, relationship status, or intentions
• Catfishing or identity fraud will result in an immediate permanent ban

Renyou is a platform for meaningful connections, not explicit content.

• No nudity, sexually explicit photos, or suggestive content in profiles or chats
• No unsolicited sexual messages or advances
• No pornographic or obscene material of any kind
• Profile photos must be appropriate — no underwear shots, no suggestive poses

We have zero tolerance for any form of harassment or discrimination.

• No threats, intimidation, bullying, or stalking
• No hate speech based on religion, caste, community, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other characteristic
• Caste-based discrimination is strictly prohibited — shaming or rejecting someone based on caste will result in immediate action
• No body shaming, slut shaming, or divorce shaming
• No pressure or coercion of any kind
• No contacting someone outside the app after they have asked you to stop

Renyou is for personal connections, not business.

• Do not promote products, services, or businesses in your profile or messages
• Do not solicit money, donations, or investments
• Do not share links to external websites, apps, or social media for promotional purposes
• Do not use Renyou to recruit for any organization
• No spamming messages or copy-pasting the same message to multiple people

You must be at least 18 years old to use Renyou. This is non-negotiable. We verify age during onboarding, and any accounts found to belong to minors will be immediately removed. If you suspect a user is underage, please report them immediately.

Your photos help others get to know the real you. Keep them genuine and appropriate.

• All photos must be of yourself — no celebrities, memes, landscapes, or animals as profile photos
• Your main photo must clearly show your face — no sunglasses, masks, or heavy filters
• No group photos as your primary image (it should be obvious which person you are)
• No photos of children without you in them (to protect children's privacy)
• No watermarked, copyrighted, or stock images
• No photos with excessive text overlays or promotional content

Good conversations start with mutual respect. Here is what we expect:

• Start conversations respectfully — reference something from their profile
• Do not send the same generic opener to everyone
• Do not ask for personal contact details (phone number, address) in the first few messages
• Do not send unsolicited voice notes or video call requests without chatting first
• If someone does not respond, do not send repeated follow-up messages
• No abusive language — our chat filter monitors for inappropriate content
• No sharing of another user's private information or screenshots of conversations
